The Campsite and its Surroundings

What are the opening dates of the campsite?

The campsite is open from April 6, 2024 until September 28, 2024.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed on the pitches and in the rental accommodations under certain conditions. We charge an additional fee of €4 per night.
The dog must be kept on a leash and must do its business outside the campsite.
The dog must not be left alone on the pitch or in the rental accommodation. Vaccinations must be up to date.
We accept a maximum of 2 dogs per stay. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed.

What is the weather like in Murol?

Murol is located at an altitude of 850m. Although we have very pleasant temperatures during the summer, the temperature drops at night. We recommend always bringing a sweater.

Where can I do my shopping?

The nearest supermarkets:
• Murol: Spar (1 km), small Casino (1.5km)
• Besse: Auchan Supermarket (10km)
• Champeix: Intermarché (15 km)
• Clermont-Ferrand and Issoire (40 minutes from the campsite) you will find hypermarkets, etc...

In Murol, you will also find a bakery, butcher shop, hairdresser, pharmacy, etc...
The campsite has a small grocery store with basic products. However, the grocery store is not large enough for you to do all your shopping for your entire stay.

Are visitors allowed?

Visitors are allowed after requesting permission at the reception. They will be under your responsibility. We ask that you introduce your visitors to the reception.
If a visitor wishes to spend the night at the campsite on your pitch or in your rental accommodation, we charge an additional fee of €5 + tourist tax and eco-participation fee.

The Pitches

Can we have electricity on our pitch?

All of our pitches can be connected to an electrical outlet. This option is not included in the price.

Can we have water on our pitch?

13 of our pitches are equipped with a water connection. Please note that you cannot do your dishes or empty your gray or black water on the pitches. The campsite has a motorhome dump station and an area to empty chemical toilets.

Are electricity and water included in the pitch rate?

No, electricity and water are not included in the pitch rate.

From what time can we arrive on our pitch?

You can arrive on your pitch from 1:00 PM.

At what time must the pitch be vacated?

The pitch must be vacated by 12:00 PM. You can leave from 7:30 AM (when the barrier opens).

Do you offer refrigerator rentals?

We offer refrigerator rentals for a minimum of 7 nights. This option is available when you make your reservation.

The Rental Accommodations

From what time can we check into our rental accommodation?

You can pick up the keys to your rental accommodation from 3:00 PM.

At what time must the rental accommodation be vacated?

The rental accommodation must be vacated before 10:00 AM. You can leave from 7:30 AM (when the barrier opens).

Are bed linens and towels provided?

No. Bed linens and towels are not provided. With your reservation, you can add disposable sheet kits (made of viscose) as an extra. We do not offer towel rentals.

Is end-of-stay cleaning included in the rental price?

End-of-stay cleaning is not included in the rental price. You can add end-of-stay cleaning as an option when booking your accommodation.

Do the rental accommodations have televisions?

All rental accommodations are equipped with a television with French channels.
